Get to know Galloways at a Pop-Up coffee event in Chorley.

If you need sight loss support in Chorley and the surrounding areas, Galloways is hosting a series of pop-up events where you can see what services for visually impaired and blind people we have on offer.

Galloways will host 4 events about the sight loss support available in Chorley, across the town centre, as well as in Adlington, in January, February & March.

These community-based events will give people the opportunity in a relaxed, informal setting to meet our team, ask questions about sight loss conditions and find out what support is on offer for partially sighted and blind people in Chorley and Lancashire.

Each event will provide light refreshments, and we encourage you to bring along friends, family members and loved ones! Our team will be on hand to discuss sight loss conditions, the support available from both Galloways and other agencies, doing demonstrations of equipment and technology that can support your everyday living and offering information on the activities and events we have on offer for people living with sight loss in Chorley.

If you are not living with a sight loss condition but would still like to come along and learn more about Galloways and what we do, please do join us! (We will even provide cake!)

January – 23 January 2025, 10:00-13:00 at Chorley Library, Union Street, Chorley, PR7 1EB.

February – 15 February 2025, 10.00-12.00 at Adlington Library, Railway Road, Adlington, Chorley, PR6 9RG

March – 13 March 2025, 10.00 -13.00 at Chorley Football Club, Victory Park Stadium, Duke St, Chorley PR7 3DU
