Welcome to Howick House, nestled in the heart of Penwortham, Preston.

Our versatile rooms are available for hire. When you book with us, you’re supporting our efforts to assist local people living with sight loss.

Our rooms are more than just four walls; they’re the perfect space for everything from training days to presentations, leisure classes to social gatherings, or a confidential space for board meetings.

Parking? There is plenty of free parking for all your attendees. We can also provide catering service for an extra fee, from light refreshments to buffet, to suit your requirements.

Here are the rooms available to hire:

The Social Centre

A great space which can be used for a large variety of groups, meetings and more! With an adjoining kitchen, separate toilets and a conservatory, this space is light, airy and flexible. This room holds up to 70 people and is priced just £21 per hour.

Meeting Room

The perfect room for your business meetings and remote working, with space for up to 15 individuals, complemented by free WiFi and an adjoining kitchen, priced at just £16 per hour.

Lounge

This homely space, with beautiful windows and plenty of natural light offers great opportunities to any group and is really adaptable. You have the option to have the room set up with tables and chairs, or empty – whatever suits your needs! This room holds up to 30 people and is just £19 per hour.

Activity Room

A dynamic hub for groups of up to 20, ready to adapt to your every need. Complete with an adjoining kitchen and the option for furniture, it’s yours for just £16 per hour.
