VI Friendly Tennis

VI Friendly Tennis
Discover the enjoyment of tennis in an inclusive and supportive environment. Our visually impaired (VI) tennis sessions are specially adapted to enable blind and partially sighted people to enjoy the game, improve fitness and develop new skills while making friends and having fun.
About this activity
VI Tennis is an adapted version of tennis that has been specifically developed for people with sight loss. Using audible tennis balls and adapted rules, players of all abilities can enjoy the excitement of the game in a welcoming and accessible environment.
Our sessions focus on participation, confidence and enjoyment rather than competition. Whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or have played before, our experienced coaches and volunteers will help you learn new skills and enjoy the game at your own pace.
Alongside improving coordination, balance and fitness, VI Tennis is a fantastic way to meet new people and become part of a supportive community.
