Salterforth to Greenberfield - Introduction to the Walk
This guide to the canal from Salterforth to Greenberfield was written by the Leeds & Liverpool Canal Society in 2008, with comments on what can be seen by members of Galloways society for the blind and partially-sighted, financed by the West Craven Together Partnership.
The walk follows the towpath through the Barnoldswick area, and there is good car parking at either end, at Salterforth and Greenberfield. This guide is written for walking in either direction between Greenberfield and Salterforth. There is good car parking at both ends, with a snack bar, open in the summer months, at the former and a pub at the latter.
