We firmly believe that Education and Recreation can greatly contribute to the quality of life. Working in partnership with Adult Colleges, we aim to deliver courses that are fun and create friendship among our members, transport may be available.
Specialist groups have been organised, some by the visually impaired themselves, they can be for Social Gatherings, Keeping Fit or Educational purposes.
July sees the end of the College Tutors until September and we are at present in negotiations with Adult Colleges to put in place Tutors in September.
Once a month on Wednesday 10.00am – 12.00pm we are starting a coffee morning with a guest speaker. This is open to anyone who would like to come along and listen to the speaker, have a coffee and chat. The cost is £3.00 per person.
